When do you ship?
We are very prompt! Virtually all orders received by 4:00 pm Eastern Time ship that same day or the next business day. We ship weekdays and Saturday mornings. During very busy periods such as Christmas it may take an extra day to ship your order.

When will I receive my order?
Depending on the time of day you place your order, the shipping method you choose, as well as the characteristics of the destination (metropolitan vs. rural, the local Post Office open on Saturday vs. not, etc.), anywhere from 1 (tomorrow) to 9 business days after we ship. The important point here is that we turnaround orders very swiftly. New customers are often surprised by how fast they've received their order.

What shipping methods are used and what are the charges?
We use the US Postal Service for virtually all shipments. We offer three levels of delivery service: Economy, Priority, and Express. Please see our shipping policy page for additional details.

How can I place an order?
The fastest way to order is online - anytime. We also accept phone orders during regular business hours (9:00 am to 9:00 pm Eastern 7 days/week).

Is it safe to order online?
Our store is a secure site that uses HTTPS and SSL internet standards for data encryption. When you reach the appropriate step in the order process you'll notice that our address changes to "https://www..." (instead of "http://www..."), plus the appearance of the little yellow lock at the bottom of your browser which indicate that you are on a secure site. We then ensure safe handling of the transaction by contracting with Wells Fargo Bank to complete the remainder of the payment process.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept personal checks via postal mail, though this delays the shipment of your order until your check has cleared. We do not accept electronic checks or payments via PayPal® at this time.

When will you charge my credit card?
We do not charge your credit card until your order is ready to ship. For in-stock items this essentially means the day of the order.

Do you charge sales tax?
We do not collect state sales tax except for deliveries within Massachusetts, where we are located.

Do you accept wholesale orders?
We appreciate your interest, but we do not sell "wholesale" at this time. However we do offer great discounts for volume purchases of many items. Please see price discounts on the individual product pages as you browse our online store.

Do you have a printed catalog?
Not at this time. Our "catalog" is the online store that you are visiting now. In the future we will print a catalog but we have no immediate plans to do so.

Do you personalize gifts?
We plan to create a whole section of personalized gifts in the future. Right now we offer only a few items that can be personalized. To find those, from our home page search for "personalized".

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship internationally. At this time our online store automatically processes orders completely only to Canada. Customers in other countries please perform the following steps:
1) Fill your shopping cart with your desired items and complete the checkout process as far as our online store lets you (just prior to entering credit card information).
2) Inform us via email that your cart is complete and awaiting our review.
3) We'll calculate the shipping charge, enable your checkout to be completed, then inform you via email.
4) You’ll have three days to complete the checkout process online from the point where you left off. You may change the items in your shopping cart with your understanding that we may have to make an adjustment to the shipping charge (up or down).

Can I change or cancel an order?
Yes, of course — if we haven’t shipped it yet! If for any reason you’d like to make a change or cancel please either call us toll free at 1-800-926-5605, fax us (not toll free) 1-617-395-2692, or include your order number and desired action in a brief email to "service" (add the "@" sign, then ballerinagifts.com after "service"). If you've ordered online you could also log into your BallerinaGifts.com account from our website and either edit or cancel the order. If we've already shipped, returns are easy.

What is your return policy?
We gladly accept returns of unopened/unused merchandise within 30 days of ship date. After we've received your returned shipment in an acceptable condition we'll promptly credit your credit card. The amount credited will be the full amount charged minus the shipping charge from us to you. Sorry, we cannot pay for the return shipping to us.
