Degas Little Dancer Small Statue

A personal-sized replica of the original ballerina sculpture, The Fourteen-year-old Dancer by Edgar Degas (French, 1834-1917). The original was completed and exhibited in wax in 1881. A number of bronze casts were made in 1920 and are customarily exhibited with real gauze skirts and satin hair ribbons. This quality reproduction is made of resin and stands on a wood base (all one piece). Grand on a desk, table or shelf. Overall height 4-3/4".
