My daughter M (on right) and her friend M started dance class when they were three years old. This is a picture of them at their recital when they were four. They did a ballet dance to The Little Lion song, and really got up on their toes! M has seen The Nutcracker twice and in the spring I am taking her to see the ballet in New York.

K is 11 years old and has taken ballet since she was two. She takes ballet, pointe, modern, jazz and tap classes. Each year our local Girl Scout Troop holds a "Fashion Show" and the girls are allowed to dress up in different categories such as "Going to Prom", "Casual Everyday Wear", "Sportswear", "Time Machine", etc. Last year B decided to go as a ballerina. And wasn't she just beautiful!

This picture of my daughter L was taken at parents night at our local ballet school. She is three years old and was so excited to start dancing that I spent several weeks looking for outfits and, you know, “the works”. Updated a year later in June: This past month I was fortunate enough to attend the annual recital. Both my nieces, C [below right] and her sister A [below left] are ballerinas. They love to dance (and dress up too). C has appeared in 3 recitals and A in 2. C loves ballet and jazz where A has only taken ballet. They both did such a wonderful job in this year's recital!
