What Makes Corolle Dolls Special
Supple Vinyl with a Vanilla Scent
Camille Ballerina and Chloe Ballerina feel soft due to the high quality of the vinyl used to manufacture them. And Corolle adds a very light scent of vanilla to the liquid vinyl before it is molded, to make hugging the dolls even more fun.
Rooted Hair
Corolle also makes its dolls using rooted hair. Rooted hair is stitched into the scalp. It's made of silk-like nylon and can be either straight, curly, or wavy.
Size-appropriate Sleeping Eyes
The placement and size of eyes are in proportion to the size of a doll's face and are firmly affixed in eye sockets.
Translucent, not Opaque
The coloring of the skin, lips and cheeks is light and natural.
Care of Your Corolle Ballerina Doll
• The all-vinyl doll bodies are surface washable with a damp washcloth or a mild towelette (chlorine- and bleach-free); they are not machine washable. The dolls must be allowed to air dry naturally. Do NOT put them in a clothes dryer or place them on a radiator to dry.
• Wash your doll’s hair using a simple lather of mild soap and lukewarm water (not shampoo and conditioner, nor bleach or chlorine!).
• Dry your doll’s hair by allowing it to air dry naturally: no hairdryers, curling irons, heat styling, radiators, tumble drying, etc.
• Brush or comb your doll's hair using a toy brush or comb to style your doll’s hair.
