A beautiful Edgar Degas' (French, 1834-1917) ballerina dancer image is affixed onto a raw bisque ceramic tile, glazed, and then inlaid to the top of this rich music box. Highly polished coating protects the cherry-finished wood. Lush, dark red interior.
It's enchanting to watch the 18-note movement play under its clear cover. Plays your choice of Music Box Dancer or Swan Lake when open. Measures 7" x 5-1/8" x 2-1/2".
